Blue Jays sign Shawn Hill

In news that is really only exciting to me, hometown hero Shawn Hill has signed with Blue Jays.  Hill, who had Tommy John surgery last July, has gone 8-16 in 5 seasons, only pitching in 218 1/3 innings in that time frame due in large part with frequent injuries along the way.  He has maintained a respectable 4.11 FIP over that time.

And don't make the Star's mistake and accuse him of being from Mississauga.  This guy may have something to say about that.
